القرآنُ الكريمُ كلام الله تعالى، أصلُ العلوم وكفى به شرفًا، ولصاحبه فخرًا، والقراءاتُ القرآنية وعلومِها مِن أجلِّ العلوم وأشرفِها؛ لتعلّقها المباشر بكلام الله تعالى الذي ورثّه الله من اصطفاه من عباده.

ولقد تنافس العلماء على اختلاف مجالاتهم في تحصيل المنزلة الرّفيعة، وتسابقوا إلى إحراز الفضيلة العظيمة؛ واستنفدت الأمّةُ أعمارَها في خدمة القراءات وعلومها، وبذلت ما تملكه في تحصيلها وتبليغها، وامتدت الجهود المبذولة، وتعدّدت وجوه الخدمة، ومن أبرز مظاهرها: الثروة القرائية المتنوعّة التي ورّثها علماء الأداء والقراءة روايةً ودرايةً ميسّرةً مبسّطةً.

وإذا كان علماءُ القراءات السابقون قد أدّوا ما عليهم نحو العلوم القرائيّة، فالدَّور الآن على المتخصّصين من أهل الأداء والقراءة الذين هم مَحَطُّ أنظار الأمّة، حملة النّور والحمل الثقيل، فيهم الأمل وعليهم المعوّل في خدمة العلوم الشريفة ونقلها إلى الأجيال القادمة، والمساهمة لا تقتصر عليهم فحسب، بل المأمول من كل قارئ لكتاب الله تعالى تقديم المساهمة المُمكنة، والمشاركة المناسبة.

The Holy Quran is the word of God Almighty, the origin of the sciences, and that is enough of an honor, and a source of pride for its owner. The Quranic readings and their sciences are among the most noble and honorable of sciences, due to their direct connection to the word of God Almighty, which God inherited from those whom He chose from among His servants. Scholars have competed in their various fields to attain the lofty status, and have raced to achieve the great virtue. The nation has exhausted its lives in serving the readings and their sciences, and has spent what it possesses in acquiring and conveying them. The efforts made have extended, and the aspects of service have multiplied, and among its most prominent manifestations is the diverse reading wealth that the scholars of performance and reading have inherited, through simplified and facilitated narration and knowledge. If the previous scholars of readings have done what they were required to do regarding the reading sciences, then the turn now is for the specialists among the people of performance and reading who are the focus of the nation’s attention, the bearers of light and the heavy burden, in them is hope and upon them is reliance in serving the noble sciences and transferring them to the coming generations, and the contribution is not limited to them alone, but rather what is hoped for from every reader of the Book of God Almighty is to provide the possible contribution and appropriate participation.
