Passion Scientific Refereed Journal for Human Studies is committed to preserving the journal’s published scholarly record, supporting continued access to published research, and maintaining the files and documentation associated with the publication process.
The journal maintains a comprehensive internal electronic archive containing manuscripts and publication-related files at different stages of the editorial process, including submitted manuscripts, revised versions, final approved manuscripts prepared for publication, files associated with published issues, as well as forms, correspondence, and other relevant publication records.
Internal Journal Archive
The journal maintains its editorial and publication files in the electronic storage space designated for the journal, including:
- Submitted manuscripts.
- Manuscripts undergoing peer review and revision.
- Final approved and publication-ready manuscripts.
- Files of published journal issues.
- Final PDF versions of published articles.
- Relevant publication forms and documentation.
- Correspondence and records related to the publication process.
This internal archive is maintained to preserve the journal’s editorial and administrative records and to support the retrieval of files when necessary.
Preservation of Published Versions
The journal retains the final versions of published articles within its electronic archive and makes the published versions available to readers through the journal’s official website in accordance with its Open Access Policy and the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
The final published version available on the journal’s website constitutes the official Version of Record of the article.
Continued Access to Published Content
The journal seeks to maintain stable links to published articles and continued access to published content through its official website.
When changes are made to the website structure or article URLs, appropriate redirect mechanisms may be implemented, where necessary, to help preserve access to previously published content.
External Archiving and Long-Term Digital Preservation
The journal does not currently use an external specialized digital preservation service, such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, Portico, or Internet Archive, for the long-term preservation of its published content.
The journal is committed to developing additional digital preservation and continuity mechanisms in accordance with internationally recognized best practices in scholarly publishing.
Open Access to Preserved Content
Published articles are made available under the journal’s Open Access Policy, and the journal does not impose an embargo period on access to published versions.
Published versions remain freely accessible through the journal’s official website in accordance with the Open Access Policy and the CC BY 4.0 license.
Continuity of the Scholarly Record
In the event of technical or editorial changes to the website, the journal seeks to preserve published issues, articles, and their essential metadata in order to maintain the continuity of the journal’s scholarly record and facilitate continued access to published content.
The journal periodically reviews its archiving and digital preservation procedures with the aim of strengthening long-term preservation and continued access to its published scholarly content.
