Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal’s official submission form, in accordance with the journal’s manuscript template, submission guidelines, and published policies.
The submission must include the requirements specified in the journal’s template, including:
- The complete manuscript in the required format.
- An Arabic abstract of no more than 250 words.
- An English abstract of no more than 250 words.
- Keywords according to the requirements of the journal’s manuscript template.
- A brief author biography.
- Any additional information or documents requested by the journal when necessary.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work, the accuracy of the information provided, the scholarly integrity of the manuscript, and compliance with the journal’s guidelines and publication ethics.
2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Board conducts an initial screening of each submitted manuscript to assess:
- Its relevance to the journal’s Aims and Scope.
- Compliance with the basic submission requirements.
- Compliance with the journal’s manuscript template and formatting requirements.
- Whether there are any substantive issues that would prevent the manuscript from being sent for peer review.
- Compliance with principles of academic integrity and publication ethics.
If a manuscript does not meet the basic requirements or falls outside the journal’s scope, the Editorial Board may reject it or return it to the author for completion or correction before peer review.
3. Preparation of the Blinded Manuscript
After passing the initial screening, the Editorial Board prepares a blinded version of the manuscript for peer review by removing author names and other identifying information that could reveal the authors’ identities.
The Editorial Board retains the complete version containing the authors’ information, while the blinded version is used for the peer-review process. This procedure supports the journal’s Double-Blind Peer Review system.
4. Peer Review
The manuscript is assigned to at least two qualified reviewers with appropriate expertise in the subject of the research.
The journal follows a double-blind peer-review system in which:
- Reviewers do not know the identities of the authors.
- Authors do not know the identities of the reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts objectively and independently and provide scholarly reports and constructive comments to assist the Editorial Board in reaching an appropriate decision and improving the quality of the manuscript.
When there is a substantial disagreement between reviewers’ reports or when necessary, the Editorial Board may seek the opinion of an additional reviewer to assist in reaching an editorial decision.
5. Revision and Re-evaluation
When revisions are required, the author is asked to revise the manuscript in response to the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised version according to the procedures specified by the Editorial Board.
Depending on the nature of the requested revisions, the revised manuscript may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation or reviewed by the Editorial Board.
6. Editorial Decision
After completion of the peer-review process and consideration of the reviewers’ reports and any required revisions, the Editorial Board makes the appropriate editorial decision, which may be:
- Final Acceptance.
- Revision Required.
- Rejection.
The author is notified of the decision by email and receives the reviewers’ comments or a summary of the decision in accordance with the journal’s procedures.
7. Acceptance and Publication Fees
No fees are charged at the time of manuscript submission or during the peer-review process.
After a final acceptance decision has been issued, the author receives an official acceptance letter containing information regarding publication procedures, applicable publication fees, and payment methods.
Publication fees are applied in accordance with the journal’s published Publication Fees & Payment Policy, as follows:
- Authors from outside Passion University: USD 100 per accepted article.
- Faculty members of Passion University: USD 70 per accepted article.
- Articles covered by approved academic grants: Fee exemption according to the applicable grant conditions.
Payment of publication fees does not influence the scholarly decision, as the acceptance decision is made before publication fees are collected.
8. Payment Confirmation and Completion of Publication Procedures
After paying any applicable publication fee, the author completes the journal’s Publication Fee Payment Confirmation Form and submits proof of payment according to the published instructions.
The relevant administration verifies the payment. Once payment has been confirmed, the journal proceeds with the preparation of the accepted manuscript for publication.
9. Final Language and Editorial Review
After acceptance and completion of the required procedures, the manuscript undergoes final language and editorial review by the journal’s qualified language reviewers.
This stage may include:
- Reviewing grammatical, spelling, and language errors.
- Improving clarity and linguistic presentation where necessary.
- Checking editorial consistency throughout the manuscript.
- Reviewing and formatting references according to the journal’s adopted APA style.
- Checking the final manuscript against the journal’s formatting and publication requirements.
This review is a final quality-control stage and does not relieve authors of their responsibility to submit a linguistically sound, academically accurate, and well-prepared manuscript.
10. Final Formatting and Production
After completion of the language and editorial review, the final version is prepared for electronic publication, including:
- Final manuscript formatting.
- Adjustment of fonts, margins, and overall formatting according to the journal’s requirements.
- Preparation of the final article for online publication.
- Final checks required before publication.
11. Online Publication and Open Access
After all production procedures have been completed, the article is published on the journal’s official website in accordance with its Open Access Policy.
Published articles are made freely, immediately, and permanently accessible to readers under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
12. Author Notification
The author is notified by email when the article has been officially published.
The author is provided with the link to the published article on the journal’s official website and may be provided with a PDF copy in accordance with the journal’s procedures.
13. Confidentiality and Academic Integrity
The journal maintains the confidentiality of manuscripts, author information, and reviewer information throughout the peer-review process and adheres to principles of academic integrity and publication ethics at all stages of manuscript processing.
Corrections, updates, and retractions are handled in accordance with the journal’s published Retraction & Updates Policy.
Any substantive changes to the journal’s publication policies or procedures are formally announced through the journal’s website.
