Manuscript Template
Passion Scientific Refereed Journal for Human Studies adopts a standardized manuscript template for all submissions. Authors are required to follow the journal’s manuscript template and published submission guidelines.
Authors submit one copy of the manuscript containing the authors’ information in accordance with the journal’s template. Upon submission, the Editorial Board removes the authors’ names and other identifying information from the version prepared for peer review in order to ensure the journal’s Double-Blind Peer Review system.
1. Title Page
The first page of the manuscript should include:
- The complete and clear title of the research article.
- The full name of each author.
- Academic degree or academic rank.
- Institutional affiliation.
- Email address.
- Telephone number, including the country code.
- Date of submission.
Note: The information provided on the title page is used for editorial, administrative, and communication purposes. The Editorial Board removes identifying information from the version prepared for peer review.
2. Abstract and Keywords
The manuscript must include:
Arabic Abstract
- Maximum 250 words.
English Abstract
- Maximum 250 words.
Keywords
The article must include at least five keywords in Arabic, together with appropriate English equivalents.
Keywords should be accurate, relevant to the subject of the article, and useful for article discovery, indexing, and accessibility.
3. Structure of the Manuscript
The manuscript should be organized in a clear and scholarly manner appropriate to the nature and discipline of the study.
Depending on the type, methodology, and field of the research, the manuscript may include the relevant sections below:
- Introduction.
- Research Problem.
- Research Questions and/or Hypotheses, where applicable.
- Research Objectives and Significance.
- Research Methodology and Procedures.
- Research Tools, where applicable.
- Theoretical Framework.
- Previous Studies or Literature Review.
- Presentation and Analysis of Research Material or Data.
- Results.
- Discussion.
- Conclusions.
- Recommendations and Suggestions, where applicable.
- Any other sections required by the nature and discipline of the study.
- References.
- Appendices, where necessary.
Note: Not all sections are mandatory for every manuscript. The structure should reflect the nature, methodology, and discipline of the research.
4. References
All sources and references must be documented according to the APA style adopted by the journal.
Authors are responsible for:
- Accurately documenting all sources used in the manuscript.
- Ensuring consistency between in-text citations and the reference list.
- Organizing the reference list according to the applicable APA requirements.
- Verifying the accuracy of bibliographic information and available links or persistent identifiers.
5. Manuscript Formatting
Manuscripts must be prepared according to the following specifications:
- Arabic: Traditional Arabic, 16-point font.
- English: Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Page size: A4.
- Margins: 2 cm on all sides.
- File format: Microsoft Word, DOC or DOCX.
Authors should ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal’s formatting requirements before submission.
6. Manuscript Length
The manuscript should be between:
18 and 25 pages
This page limit includes references and appendices, where applicable.
7. Author Biography
A brief author biography should be submitted with the manuscript. It should not exceed one page.
It may include:
- Full name.
- Academic degree or academic rank.
- Institutional affiliation.
- Field of specialization.
- Major scholarly publications, where applicable.
- Email address.
- Telephone number.
8. Author Declaration
When submitting the manuscript, the author confirms through the submission form that:
- The manuscript is original and has not been previously published.
- The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another publication.
- All sources used in the manuscript have been appropriately acknowledged.
- The information and data presented are accurate to the best of the author’s responsibility.
- The author agrees to comply with the journal’s policies and publication ethics.
- The author agrees to the journal’s Double-Blind Peer Review process.
- The author agrees to comply with the journal’s copyright and licensing policy.
The author also confirms agreement that, if accepted for publication, the article will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) in accordance with the journal’s policy.
9. Author Responsibility for Manuscript Preparation
Authors are responsible for preparing their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s template and submission guidelines, including:
- Scholarly accuracy.
- Linguistic accuracy.
- Accuracy of data and information.
- Originality of the research.
- Accuracy of citations and references.
- Compliance with research and publication ethics.
- Compliance with formatting requirements.
The Editorial Board may return a manuscript to the author for completion of formal requirements or necessary corrections before sending it for peer review.
