- Authors must clearly disclose any use of generative artificial intelligence or automated tools in the preparation of the manuscript whenever such use goes beyond basic language editing, proofreading, or formatting assistance.
- Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, validity, and originality of all content generated or assisted by AI tools.
- Artificial intelligence tools or automated systems may not be listed as authors or co-authors of submitted manuscripts.
- Generative AI tools may not be cited as scholarly sources or references in the manuscript.
- Authors must ensure that the use of automated tools does not result in plagiarism, fabricated data, inaccurate references, or misleading information.
Second: Use of Artificial Intelligence by Reviewers and Editors
- Editors and peer reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and may not upload manuscripts or any part thereof to generative AI platforms without prior authorization from the journal.
- Peer reviewers and editors may not use generative AI tools to produce full peer-review reports or editorial decisions automatically.
- Limited use of technical tools for language improvement, plagiarism detection, or editorial assistance may be permitted, provided that all outputs are subject to human review and supervision.
- All editorial and peer-review processes remain under full human oversight, and the editorial board retains final responsibility for all academic and publishing decisions.
