يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة والتحليل قصة الذبيح كما وردت في القرآن الكريم والتوراة، مبيِّنًا أوجه الاتفاق والاختلاف بين الروايتين من حيث المضمون والدلالات والعبر المستفادة. يبرز البحث المنهج القرآني في عرض القصة بأسلوب موجز يركِّز على العبرة والعظة، في مقابل السرد التوراتي الذي يجنح إلى التفصيل التاريخي. كما يناقش الخلاف بين المفسِّرين حول هوية الذبيح، هل هو إسماعيل أم إسحاق عليهما السلام، من خلال عرض أقوال العلماء وتحليل أدلتهم النقلية والعقلية، واستعراض مواقفهم من الروايات الإسرائيلية.

يخلص البحث إلى أنَّ مقصود القصة في القرآن ليس تحديد اسم الذبيح بقدر ما هو إبراز الابتلاء العظيم الذي كشف عن صدق إيمان إبراهيم وابنه واستسلامهما التام لأمر الله تعالى. وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، من خلال تتبُّع النصوص القرآنية والتوراتية وتفسيرها ومقارنتها، وصولًا إلى نتائج تُظهر سموَّ المنهج القرآني في توجيه الإنسانية إلى جوهر الإيمان والتسليم المطلق لله عز وجل.

This research analyzes the story of the Sacrificed Son as narrated in the Holy Qur’an and the Torah, highlighting the points of agreement and divergence between the two accounts in terms of content, meaning, and moral lessons. The study emphasizes the Qur’anic narrative style, which focuses on spiritual reflection and moral instruction, in contrast to the Torah’s historical and detailed storytelling. It also discusses the scholarly debate over the identity of the sacrificed son -whether he was Ishmael or Isaac (peace be upon them)- by presenting and analyzing the evidences and interpretations of classical scholars, as well as their positions on Israelite traditions.

The research concludes that the main purpose of the Qur’anic account is not to specify the name of the son, but rather to highlight the great trial that revealed the sincerity of Abraham’s faith and his son’s complete submission to God’s command. The study adopts an inductive analytical methodology, examining Qur’anic and Torah texts comparatively to demonstrate the superiority of the Qur’anic approach in guiding humanity toward the essence of faith and total devotion to the Almighty.
